It will come as no surprise to you that we have experienced a significant reduction in passenger numbers as people sensibly follow the latest guidance from the Government to avoid social gatherings and all but essential use of public transport and for those at most risk, including over 70s, to stay at home.
Indeed, a number of our wonderful volunteers are also having to withdraw for the moment - that is entirely the right and responsible thing to do. Be assured that you are very much valued - we will keep in-touch and look forward to welcoming you back again once circumstances allow.
FACTS operates for community benefit and we are proud to have supported the residents of Felixstowe and the surrounding area for the last 30 years. In this our anniversary year, the coronavirus pandemic dictates that we need to adapt our offering. That is why we have stepped up to support a new community initiative led by Felixstowe Town Councillor, Darren Aitchison.
Felixstowe Helping Hands is drawing together and mobilising volunteers from our community to support those self-isolating and others in need of help. FACTS intends to use our vehicles to support them in that endeavour.
Please direct all requests to the Felixstowe Helping Hands Coordinator, who can be reached on 07479 556736.
